Abstract
COVID-19 is transmitted rapidly from human to human, so people have a very big role to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. In the prevention of COVID-19, it is necessary to apply health protocols by means of, wearing masks, washing hands / using handsanitizer and also improving endurance by implementing clean and healthy living behaviors such as eating balanced nutrition, physical activity, adequate rest. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of knowledge and community attitudes with the application of health protocols in the prevention of COVID-19 in RW 07 Gunung Sari Makassar Village. This study uses observational analytics with a cross sectional study approach. Sampling was conducted on a Non Probability Sampling basis with Consecutive Sampling technique with a sample count of 60 respondents. The data was analyzed using a chisquare test that showed there was a knowledge relationship with the implementation of health protocols in the prevention of COVID-19 (ρ = 0.033). For variable attitudes use a chisquare test that shows there is a relationship of community attitudes with the insertion of health protocols in the prevention of COVID-19 (ρ = 0.002).
