Abstract
Morbus Hansen is a disease that has a huge impact on the sufferer. Not only does it affect its physical shape, but it will also bring an impact to its social life. The Stigma of society against Morbus Hansen sufferers will also bring a major influence to the family's social life of sufferers (especially teenagers) so that it tends to affect their self-concept. The study aims to determine the relationship of self-concept and social interksi of youth with parents of Morbus Hansen. The design of research is an observational analitycal with cross sectional study approach. Sampling uses probability sampling techniques with simple random sampling approaches amounting to 60 respondents. The instruments used are self-concept questionnaires and social interactions. The results were analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a value of P (0.000) < α (0.05) which means there is a significant link between self-concept and the social interaction of teenagers who have parents of Morbus Hansen. The results showed 39 (65.0%) Respondents to the self-concept of positive social interaction good, 5 (8.3%) Respondents to the concept of a positive social interaction less, 5 (8.3%) Respondents with the concept of negative self-social interactions either, and 11 (18.3%) Respondents with negative self-concept and less social interactions. Researchers suggest families to demonstrate a supportive attitude (supportive) toward adolescents so that teenagers can be more confident and have a positive self-concept.
